Confirmed: Prices Of Cement Goes Up By 10 Cedis And 12 Cedis - 82Cedis For A Bag Of Cement

Bridget Otoo a journalist at Metro TV has revealed that it is now confirmed that prices of cement has gone up again.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, 18th October 2022, she wrote;

"Confirmed: prices are going up by 10 cedis for the 32.5 and 12 cedis for the 42.5.Meaning you are picking a bag of cement at my shop for 82cedis!"

Bridget added that for those in the Northern part of the country, Techiman, Kumasi, she don’t know when it would get there but they are likely to pay 90 cedis for a bag of 42.5 cement.

In another post, She wrote that a bag of the 32.5 grade cement in 2018 was 32.5 cedis when I started selling, today it’s hitting 74-80 cedis. She called Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to arrest the dollar because their capital is shrinking and we would fold at this rate!
