Financial Analyst Has Sent A Word Of Caution To The Nana Addo Bawumia Government

The Government of Ghana has been warned by Mr. Alfred Ocansey; a Financial Analyst, not to over-look the recent issues raised by Bloomberg and Fitch, regarding the Ghanaian economy.

Speaking on Sunrise show on 3FM Tuesday, January 18, Mr Jackson advised the government, saying “The Finance Ministry is the Finance Ministry, they have to do what they want to do; but things are tough. What I have to say is that, if you listen to our Finance Ministry they are our people, but at the same time independent people from outside come to say they don’t like what you are going, the way you are going, when you come and try and borrow from us... it is not likely people will give you money because we don’t like this, you should listen to them”.

According to Mr Joe Jackson, “The Finance Ministry, we cant fault them for trying to put their best foot forward and for pointing out some discrepancies in their opinion in the Bloomberg report. That is fine but at the same time, you can’t ignore all the different independent institutions that are telling you that things are tough".

Speaking in an interview with the program host, Alfred Ocansey, Mr Joe Jackson further urged the Nana Addo/Bawumai's administration, take issues raised by Bloomberg and Fitch regarding, our economy very seriously; because according to him,"these international independent bodies are telling the Government of Ghana the real issues, that the locals may not be able to tell the administration".
