The outspoken National Communication Officer of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi, has taken a swipe at Dr. Mahamud Bawumia for his "demons and principalities" statement about the economy. According to him, Dr. Mahamud Bawumia doesn't respect Ghanaians and the office of the Vice-president, which he is occupying.
Sammy Gyamfi made this statement on 'THE GUMBE SHOW' on tv XYZ when he lamented the non-seriousness of Dr. Mahamud Bawumia as the Vice-president of Ghana.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, Dr. Mahamud Bawumia should know that the position is occupying as the Vice-president of Ghana is no mean a position. He should speak decently and truthfully anytime he has a platform to address Ghanaians.
He indicated that for someone who has received all the accolades of an economist to address the high exchange rate and the sinking economy of the country, to turn around and tell us that the economy is sinking because of "demons and principalities" is way below the belt.
"Mahamud Bawumia would have been asked to resign as the Vice-president if this had happened in some other countries. He doesn't respect Ghanaians and the office he is occupying. The office of the Vice-president is serious and not meant for cracking jokes."
So, Dr. Mahamud Bawumia should get to work and stop the jokes because they are not funny.
He added that it is about time the advisers of the Vice-president tell him that he is disgracing the country by what he has been doing.
