John Dumelo has been encouraging the youth to venture into agriculture. He does not only say it in rhetoric, but has placed resouces into this venture and showcasing how it can be beneficial and lucrative to the Ghanaian youth.
John posted a picture of 3 tonnes of harveted ginger. He used his bumper harvest today to continue his campaign for agriculture. Today's post caught the attention of many people on social media. Most of them praising him for his hard work and harvest. The post read, " just harvested 3tons of ginger...I am a proud farmer.#idey4u" .
What many Ghanains do not know is how long he has been doing this. John for the past few years have been championing agriculture everywhere including his social media pages. John has also been actively farming.
In recognition of his activities, he was invited to give a motivational talk on Agriculture on Tedx talks. This platform is one of the largest motivational platforms worldwide and on YouTube with over 40 million subscribers on YouTube.
John spoke of his farming journey. He spoke his 10 acre Okro farm.
150 acres of maize and 150 acres of beans.
Snail farm with 45000 snails and projecting 1 million snails by the year end.
John share's messages daily on Facebook to motivate the youth.
