The Electoral Commission of Ghana has been indebt to some of it's workers for about 8 months now.
Some Workers who were engaged for 7th December, 2021 election are aggrieved because wage has been long over due
Per our investigation conducted, about 20% workers have not been paid yet.
All accounts numbers provided by these workers are correct and active. And the accounts details were retaken by EC but it ended as fiasco.
It is believe that some people are deliberately sitting on the sweat of others, which is a very painful act.
In Asuogyaman District, it seems payment is made selectively. Because, after their account details were retaken, others have not been paid still. And any attempt to know the cause of the delay has prove futile. We got to realized the trend of this selective payment, that, in the account details, if the branch is not within Asuogyaman, payment won't be made.
An aggrieved worker , said "My account details were accurate and My account is very active, I think they don't want to pay "
A worker must enjoy from his sweat.
A worker deserve his/her wage.
