The huge number of dead fishes at the seashores of Ghanaian coastal towns has been the talk of town. BBC captured the story on their news program among other news making waves around the world.

The reporter from Ghana to the BBC cited various reasons for the dead fishes. It could have been the use of poisonous chemicals by some fishermen. This is a practice that has been going on in our seas. There have been rules and regulations banning the use of chemicals in fishing but the reality of the matter is that, people still uses it.

Also some experts claim it could be deep crawling. This practices destroys the sea eds as the nets are lowered deep into the bottom of the water. The oxygen contents thereby gets destroyed and hence killing the aquatic lives.

However, there are alleged reports from the various towns in which these very incident occurred. The people sees it as Easter gift form God and therefore has started eating and selling some on the market.
