He said amongst others, he visited the premises of Neoplan Ghana Limited, where he accepted the request by Management to include the company in Government’s 1-District-1-Factory initiative in order to help revive the fortunes of the company.
According to president Nana Akufo-Addo, he inspected ongoing work on the 30km Anwiankwanta-Obuasi Road and cut sod for the construction of the 100-bed Obuasi Trauma and Accident Hospital in Obuasi and also visited the AngloGold Ashanti mines, which has been revived by his Government.
Many Ghanaians are happy for the president paying visit to Ashanti Region because his visit has answered a lot of fix the country movement questions and issues raised by them. Despite that Ghanaians are pleading the president to do this in the coming weeks to keep his promise to NABCO trainees in the country.
Although, some people are saying that President Nana Akufo-Addo should always speak in good manner and not to intentionally mentioned some of his ministers that wants to become president. At this juncture, people said he should be neutral, even if he is in support of one of them. "Kindly devoid such words in your mouth as a good leader be neutral with all your actions towards the flagbearership" someone told president Nana Akufo-Addo.
Ghanaians are requesting that the president should help NABCO trainees to get permanent job as their service to the nation is going to end in the month of October.
"Something is about to happen to your lovely children of Ghana which I want to reminds you so that such calamity does not happen go them. As far as you are the first Gentleman of the Land who has your pupils at heart in the history of the Republic of Ghana. Our Nabco trainees are in their final month of their three years contract. Please kindly fulfill your promise by maintaining all eligible trainees this year. Please you are capable of doing more than that. Please we are on our knees begging that you should not to let any eligible Nabco trainees to go home empty hand Mr President" Ghanaians pleaded on behalf of NABCO trainees when Nana Akufo-Addo shared his visit to the Ashanti Region.
