The host of the Newsfile show on Joy News, Samson Lardy Anyenini, has finally declared that the Council of State is the most useless piece of an institution in this country Ghana. He explained that because of the useless nature of the council of state, the council of state must be scrapped from the system.
"The council of state is such a useless piece of an institution, they are just wasting the taxpayer's money. They are not accountable for our monies. They behold to the President and their purpose, if we are to go by the decision of the Supreme Court that their advice is not binding, then what is their use. We know how a certain categories of their members are selected", he explained.
Many people, like Captain Smart, have also held the view that the council of state is not helping develop the country in any way. What is your view on this?
