2022 budget as read by the finance minister has generated some discussions and misunderstanding between Ghanaians. This budget if approved will make many changes in the country within the year, 2022. Some of these changes according to analysis will help us while others too will not help the country and her citizens in the near future. The budget revealed some completing percentages of some projects outlayed by the government. It also revealed the percentage of Ghana's population that pay tax and those who do not.
In the budget, commencement of some projects such as the expansion of the Tema motorway and others were made known by the Finance Minister. Two things in the budget that have left Ghanaians talking is the e-levy and cessation of toll booth. These two initiatives has left Ghanaians talking and minority has also pledge to fight against these two ideas of the president and his government.
Today during a discussion on the 2022 budget, the member of parliament for the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency has urged his colleagues in the minority to reason with them so that the budget will be approved. According to him, the budget holds all the problems of the country and also answers unemployment in the country. He added that the budget will solve the problems of the youth and therefore, it will be a good idea to approve the budget.
