Public Relation officer of the PURC, Munkailah Bawah said several consultations with all relevant stakeholders will be under taking before arriving at the final amount. Munkailah Bawah explain further that "As we speak we have not received any proposal from any utility yet , it is also important to notice that these processes is not done by the commission alone. We as a commission we invite proposal from our key stakeholders. The industry plays a role and even general public. Because we publish the invitation and print media as well . When we receive all these things still we don't make a preciation from there. We still go ahead on what we called the public consultation and call the feed we take from these processes are featured in the final decision that the commission will come up with". He also said consultation processes will take about three months to complete.
Therefore the PURC needs to get the views and opinions from the consuming public before decision will be made .
