Amidst all the comments and backlash of the member of parliament for Assin Central and the chairman of the defense and interior committee of parliament, there seems to be a heavy confidence that the government has in honourable Kennedy Agyapong. In the news sighted and monitored on net2tvgh, the minister of energy for Ghana, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as Napo in the public and political domain, has bestowed the position of Chairman of the Governing Board of Ghana Gas on honourable Kennedy Agyapong in a brief ceremony held at the ministry of energy conference room on Wednesday afternoon 21st July 2021.
According to the news, the newly inaugurated governing board has been charged to tackle and rectify the monetary problems of the gas sector and it's effects on the power sector. The minister indicated that the president has shown so much confidence in the team to be board, thereby its nomination and inauguration to steer the affairs of the Ghana Gas. Honourable Kennedy Agyapong, the chairman of the board assured the government of their maximum effort to get the work done.
Is this an indication of the inward qualities of Kennedy Agyapong or the government does not have the men as they always tout? Whatever the case may be, we congratulate him on his new appointment
