#Fixthecountry: We Are In Trouble And Covid-19 Have Saved The Mess Dr Bawumia Created- Bernard Monah

Bernard Monah has hinted that Ghana is in big trouble but covid-19 pandemic situation have saved Ghana a lot from the mess Dr Bawumia have created before the pandemic situation hits the country.

Bernard Monah speaking on Pan African TV morning show today, Friday, 21st May, 2021, hosted by Kwame Obeng Danso stated that Ghana is in trouble because the economy of the country broke before covid-19 pandemic situation but Dr Bawumia, who is the head of economic management team refused to admit it until covid-19 pandemic exposed him.

He stated that he is very disappointed in Dr Bawumia because the problem Ghanaians are facing today was created by him, and said the economy fall because Ghana import more goods and services into the country than we export and when covid-19 came into the country, Ghana couldn't import much things and to even export the small exportation we usually does.

Bernard Monah said Ghana's expenditure was higher than expected to be spent but Dr Bawumia did not want to admit it and restructure things.

However, Bernard Monah said lack of currency stabilization (thus cedis to dollar exchange rate) was another problem that affected the country and importation reduced because people did not travelled outside the country as expected by government.

He questioned that if not covid-19 pandemic situation, how will our economy have been by now?

" It pain me to say this about Dr Bawumia. Covid-19 came to redeem the economy of this country. It has now let us to think about domestic economy. Covid-19 saved the mess Dr Bawumia have created in the country.

If covid-19 could have started in Ghana, all our leaders will run away from us and stay in another country and be ruling us.

I am very disappointed in my brother Dr Bawumia because he has refused to admit that the economy is broke and so he will restructure things for the country.

Where is the year of roads, the year of one district one factory, the year of agenda 111 hospitals, one million dollar per constituency every year?

If you sit down and have a vice president who has refused to admit that the economy is broke, then are we not in trouble?

When your hospitals does not have hospital beds and you blame it on covid-19, aren't we in trouble?" He added on the show.
