After some issues with its prepaid metering programs that left customers stranded, the Electricity Company of Ghana can now promote credit at its district offices.
In order to purchase electrical energy, customers can currently visit ECG district offices in the Greater Accra, Central, Eastern, Western, and Volta Regions.
ECG assured customers of its prepaid metering programs in a press release that its team "is working steadily to rectify the technical anomaly which affected the purchase of electricity."

Some electricity consumers have been calculating their losses, and some claim that their businesses have suffered due to their inability to purchase electrical energy.
Due to what ECG officers have identified as a technical issue, customers of ECG who have run out of energy supply both domestic and commercial, have been unable to make purchases since Tuesday.
Some ECG merchandising centers and offices have been turned away from people looking for electrical to purchase.
