Cultivate A Maintenance Culture To Prolong The Lifespan Of Government Properties - Chief Tells

The Suaduhene of Assin Atobiase in the Assin South District of the Central Region, Nana Ofobi Ntow 'II' has admonished the authorities of the various local Assemblies to inculcate preservation and maintenance culture to ensure the lifespan of state properties are prolonged.

Speaking to Rich Fm and Angel Fm/TV reporter, Shadrack Owusu Asante he said it is very worrying to note that state properties are being handled with disdain just because it is for the state and not an individual.

But when those at the helm of affairs give critical attention to inherited national assets it will save the country from the enormous state wealth that goes into drains due to the deterioration of facilities.

He made the statement during the commissioning of the Assin South District Assembly which was rehabilitated into an ultra-modern office complex by the current DCE Ms. Felicia Amissah Ntrakwah.

Meanwhile, the DCE Felicia Amissah Ntrakwah said the district assembly has not seen any major renovation for the past 12 years.

Therefore it was necessary to uplift its face standard for the workers to have a conducive working environment to ensure an increase in productivity.

Pictures from the renovated Assembly are the below ones.
