Social media activist and former Communications Manager at Airtel Ghana, Raymond Ablorh has commented that, Dr. Bawumia can do all the propaganda but when the fundamentals of the economy are weak, the exchange rate will expose him.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, 9th August 2022, he wrote; that
"When the exchange rate exposed Bawumia led Economic Management Team and we raised issues, he said that the fact that he made that statement doesn't mean that anytime the exchange rate reveals depreciation in the Cedi the fundamentals are weak.
That's after he's joked that they've arrested and jailed the Cedi and given the keys to the IGP, and the Cedi escaped to his shame."
Raymond argued that, during that time, COVID-19 and Ukraine/Russia war weren't here.
According to Raymond, now that the fundamentals are weak to junk economic status and can't be hidden from international investors and observers, he says COVID-19 and Ukraine/Russia war are responsible.
When you ask about how COVID-19 and Ukraine/Russia war effects skipped our French neighbours to attack us this heavily as if we've offended them, he may say that the fact that he asked that how could global phenomenon skip our neighbouring countries to attack us in opposition doesn't mean no global phenomenon can do that. Raymond remarked.
"Everyday, our top educated Ghanaians prove what valueless politics can do to human intellect. Politics without principles can render PhD minds to less function. They can lie to some of you but not all of us. And, some of us would continue to expose them, their lies and inconsistencies." He added.
