The member of parliament for the good people of Hohoe electoral area, Honorable John Peter Amewu finally breaks silence on IMF bailout. John peter Amewu made his message clear during an interview which was held on TV3 today.
TV3 journalist asked Honorable Peter Amewu why thr finance minister is borrowing. This issue of borrowing is connected to the recent IMF sage going on in the country. In the view of John Peter Amewu, borrowing to set up infrastructures is not wrong because, they are all bankable projects which will pay for tits self after ten (10) to fifteen (15).

According to Honorable John Peter Amewu, there will be a problem if only borrowing is done on the basis of consumption and not development. So once, the NPP Government under the leadership of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo is borrowing to develop the country, there is no problem it that.
John Peter Amewu is the current Railways Minister in Ghana.
