[Video]What Do You Take Ghanaians For:Sammy Gyamfi Quizzes As He Debunks Claims Of Global Factors

Ghana just had another downgrade from credible rating agency Fitch but many were not surprised and don’t expect anyone who monitors the space to be surprised either because all the indicators have worsened. From 3 months ago inflation was about 14%, it has now doubled.

The communication director for the National Democratic Congress has today questioned the government on how difficult they have made things for Ghanaians. To him, the high cost of living and inflation is a matter of concern and the gentleman seems worried about Ghana's deteriorating macro-economic fundamentals and the country's sovereign debt.

Speaking on Metro Tv, the vibrant politician revealed that Ghana is the fourth country in Africa with the highest inflation after Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, and Sudan. The data was shown to viewers and it confirmed the statement of the communicator as true.

Earlier top economists like Professor Steve Hanke of the John Hopkins University Baltimore, Maryland USA had indicated that his measurement of inflation in Ghana shows the rate is 'heart-sinking' and he finally described the situation as a crisis.

Sammy Gyamfi concluded by enquiring what the government takes us for us. The fact is that the president had a low standard for measuring himself and he is using the same to measure his appointees. So you have cabinet ministers who have been performing abysmally like this and you call them competent hands.
