Taxi Driver Who Returned GH¢8,400 A Passenger Left In His Car Gets GH¢12,800 From KiDi & Frimpong

Today seems to be a very good day for Kwesi Ackon, the taxi driver who returned a trader GH¢8,400 which she left in his car. Earlier today, news surfaced online indicating that a woman who sells fish at Mallam Atta Market in Accra misplaced her money in a taxi.

On a Friday evening, the woman boarded the taxi and forgot her Gh8,400 in the vehicle. The following day, the Taxi Driver discovered the money in his car and returned it to the woman at her home, where he had dropped her off.

The taxi driver, Kwesi Ackon is the man standing between KiDi and Ohene Kwame Frimpong. According to UTV, the entrepreneur and businessman, Ohene Kwame Frimpong gave the taxi driver GH¢7,400.00 for being honest and truthful in returning the old lady's money.

The Ghanaian highlife and afrobeat singer-songwriter, Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known on stage as KiDi, also dashed the taxi driver GH¢5,000.00. This means that the taxi driver has today, 11th May 2022 received GH¢12,800.00 for returning traders GH¢8,400.00.

Sources also indicate that the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has also gifted this taxi driver GH¢20,000.00 for his honesty. This money was sent to him through the Ghanaian investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni.

This means that the taxi driver, Mr. Kwesi Ackon has today received GH¢32,800.00 from Ohene Kwame Frimpong, KiDi, and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
