A return to IMF means catastrophic mismanagement of the economy – ABA Fuseini

Saganrigu lawmaker, ABA Fuseini has said the choice by the authorities to visit the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for support is an indication of the mismanagement of the economy with the aid of the Akufo-Addo management.

He asked the authorities to apologise to Ghanaians for the difficulty they're going through due to the bad control of the economy.

“A return to the IMF indicates the catastrophic mismanagement of the economy,” he instructed TV3’s Parliamentary correspondent Komla Kluste in interview on Friday July 1.

“They instructed us that they had been no longer going to the IMF. They ought to apologise to the people of this united states for implementing problem on Ghanaians and they are now going to the IMF,” he brought.

Meanwhile, a Deputy Minister of Finance, Mr John Kumah has said an IMF programme will help the usa to pop out from the financial demanding situations faster.

He said the government hopes that the programme will gain the united states of america.

“Our goal as authorities is to restore self assurance in the economic system and rebound it from the problem, from the challenges, not handiest in Ghana but almost all economies around the sector.
