You Spend On Expensive Clothes And Lifestyles And Come Back To Complain Ghana Is Hard - NR Minister

The Northern Regional Minister, Shani Alhassan Shaibu has clapped back to Ghanaians for complaining that the economy is hard. According to him, he doesn’t understand what Ghanaians mean by things are hard in the country.

In an exclusive interview with Abdul-Jalil Naabeli Musah Kumo, the minister asserted that Ghanaians spend so much on unnecessary things in life and when they are caught up with reality, they come back to blame the economy.

"When i hear things are hard, I don't understand. Unless you tell me what that means I don't see any hardship. What i see is that people are trying to adjust themselves to the lives they used not to live. If you drive out town and see the type of dresses people wear these days, the type of cars they drive and the houses they live in do not show that things are hard" he said.

He added that the economy hmis challenging us to live within our means but people are forcing to live above that, and that is why they complain that things are hard.

Shani Alhassan Shaibu disclosed that the New Patriotic Party government has done so much for Ghanaians to the extent that complaining about any hardship is a calculated propaganda. He mentioned the Free SHS system where parents do not have to pay anything to educate their children, and other unprecedented projects by president Akufo Addo.
