The communication director of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) has put the blame on the ruling Government for the bad system and the hardship the good people of Ghana is going through. According to Sammy Gyamfi, Akufo-Addo and his government has destroyed the economy of the country and has literally blame it on COVID-19. He noted that the bad policies of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia is the reason why Ghanaians are suffering.
"The mismanagement of the country by the Akufo-Addo-led government has brought unbearable hardship which will take a long time to repair and Covid-19 only came at a good time to provide the government with a plausible but a lazy excuse. The hardships we are going through currently, is a direct product of the bad policies and the insensitive leadership of President Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia and nothing more". He made this know when he was exclusively on TV3's New Day show.
He went further to note that Government has overburdened the people with the introduction of "nuisance taxes". Talking about the new taxes, he made mention of the 10 pesewas sanitation and pollution levy which he referred to as, “bola tax” is placed on every liter of diesel and petrol bought.
What's your say on this, do you also blame the government for the hardship we are going through? Drop your views on this by typing in the comment box below and follow up for more.
