Africa's youngest billionaire

With an estimated net worth of US$1.9 billion, Forbes magazine ranked him as Africa's 14th richest male, as well as the content's youngest billionaire.

 In 2013, Mohammed became the first Tanzanian billionaire to appear on the cover of Forbes Africa magazine.

In addition to his numerous business ventures, Mohammed has a proven track record of contributing to the well-being of his country's citizens through the Mo Dewji Foundation, which he established in 2014.

His contributions cover a wide range of topics, including education, wellness, and community development. Mohammed was a Member of Parliament for his hometown of Singida from 2005 to 2015, then he resigned.

Mohammed recently joined the Giving Pledge, an initiative launched by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates to solve society's most pressing issues by inviting the world's richest individuals and families to pledge to give more than half of their wealth to philanthropy during their lifetimes or after they die.
