I Prefer The E-levy Rather Than Going To IMF - Adade

The National Communication Team Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Adade says he prefers the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy) rather than going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to Ernest Adade, the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy) was a tax that the Ghanaians were not interested at the first place and for that reason, they hated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government but it is not a new thing.

Ernest Adade said it is nothing new because, during the ancient days, people hated tax collectors so, therefore, it is normal with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.

Ernest Adade prefers the tax on electronic transactions (E-levy) rather than the country going to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) because the fund generated from the E-levy will at least help the president to do whatever he wants in terms of the country's development but the conditions from the IMF will make the president stop the massive development he will intend to do when he receives the funds.
