Generally eating garden egg is very good for the body being a great source of dietary fiber, as well as other minerals and vitamins such as vitamin B1, manganese, magnesium, copper, and other various secrete nutrients. Scientists have established that, garden egg has a whole lot of health benefits as it's good for pregnant women, prevents anemia and diabetes as well as regulates Blood Pressure Levels and promotes weight loss.
A picture of different varieties and species of garden eggs pops out on the internet which really causes a stir as many watch in admiration seems most of the varieties aren't common to the public domain.
In the picture we can see edible by either leave or fruit such as kpando and dwomo (Solanum aethiopicum), gboma (Solanum gilo), Turkey berry, (Solanum torvum), whiles the species are well arranged in the shape of Ghana’s map and the same time depicts Ghana’s flag as it looks very beautiful.
Purely coming from one of the institutions set up to address issues on scientific and technological advancement belonging to the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Bunso in the East Akim Municipal District of the Eastern Region, Ghana.
Awesome publicity for the Institute, but why keep them for yourselves and research only whiles the Ghanaians farmers struggles to get quality seeds and seedlings, seems the institute has a lot of exotic kind of fruits that they can share with the farmers to improve commercial production in the country.
Kudos for using the varieties in your perfectly designed, by way the institution should try to make more seedlings available for the farmers to avoid incidents where the country will start importing garden eggs into the country.
