Many reforms has been done since the novel coronavirus took over the world. More business begins to collapse and others are also booming with joy. Ghana Commercial Bank has has been very loyal in the delivering of service to its customers across the country.
This has led to the introduction of the 'G money' which allows customers of the bank to make deposits and also withdrawal at registered agents. The main idea is ease pressure at the various GBC branches across the country.
This initiative has been of great help to both the bank and the general public. Shareholders of the bank are to enjoy 25% increase in dividends. The final dividends to the shareholders of the bank would be paid on June 28, 2021.
There would an Annual General Meeting on May 28, 2021 in consideration and adoption of 2020 audited financial statements. This also would be used as an opportunity to change the name from Ghana Commercial Bank Ltd to Ghana Commercial Bank PLC. This was made clear on their Instagram page @gcbghanalimited
Also, there would be an introduction of a new managing director Mr. Kofi Adomako and a new Deputy Managing Director for operations Mr. Emmanuel Odartey Lamptey. Proceeding form the Annual General Meeting would be streamed live on GTV and all GCB social media handles.
