President Akuffo Addo has announced the re-opening of the country land boarders after closing it for two years due to the spread of the global notorious pandemic coronavirus.

Re-opening of the land boarders will allow the flow of human traffic and inter-country trade to start effectively through neighboring countries such as Burkina Faso,Togo, Ivory coast and Benin.
The closing of the boaders was meant to curb the fast spreading of the pandemic in the country, there have been three waves of the virus between the time of closing the boaders and now.
Slowly,the rate in which the pandemic was spreading has slowed down with active cases reduced.
Ministry of information hinted at the possible removal of the ban that was on the country land boarders.
In latest address by president Akuffo Addo on the measures taken to curb the pandemic on Sunday March 27 has lifed the ban on the country land boarders and has urge all Ghanaians to protect themselves as he reverses the executive instrument signed during the peak of the pandemic.
