Astek processing factory is back under a new lebel as “NanoFoods”. Astek cannot be ruled out as one of the major processing factory in Ghana in the time past. Astek nearly see extinction but thank God and hard working new MD of Nano Foods Astek has been commissioned today. Kudos to Honourable Annoh Dompreh the mp of Nsawam Adoagyiri for the instrumental role he played in the process of rejuvenation of the Factory.
The MD of Nano foods touched on the numerous working opportunities the factory will bring to the municipality.
Mentioning of Astek will also bring the memory of Nsawam Cannary which was then the biggest fruit processing company we had in the country. Canary was bread earner to a number of Ghanaians .
across the country but this big factory which breast Ghanaians kept milking everyday got extint and dried up like a cistern or a well in the harmattan season.
In the midst of the delima searching for an alternative job that Astek processing factory surfaced as the new Saviour. Astek also went down the drain due to corruption, theft couple with some other factors like miss management . Along the line Blue Skies also came to the seen and are still in existence. Bomarts Farms can also not be overlooked since they also into fruit processing. In the midst of all this rise and falls of these companies, let’s thank God Astek has resurrected.
The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana His excellent Alhaji Bawomia was there to commisined the factory. The minister of trade Honourable Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng and the mp of the municipality Honourable Frank Annoh Dompreh among others were also there to grace the occasion.
Honourable Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng touched on the instrumental role the government played in securing fund for the factory.
