A lot of feuds keep popping up under Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo's administration concerning the numerous Banks that were collapsed by the government. Captain Smart who can't take it anymore has voiced out the main reason Group Nduom Bank (GN BANK) collapsed. Captain Smart speaking on Onua TV's "Maakye" program revealed the Nana Addo government borrowed a huge amount of money from the Bank and they failed to pay it back.
It was very sad later his Bank was collapsed by the same government as part of the Banks in Ghana whose capital doesn't meet Bank Of Ghana requirements. After this happened workers who were to be paid hadn't been paid. He added that before they collapsed GN Bank, Unibank, Royal and others they were all doing better than Databank but Databank is still operating all because the owner is in government and he is the finance minister. The most painful part was that those Banks that were collapsed by the government needed just 9 billion cedis to operate but the government used 22 billion cedis to collapse those Banks which doesn't make any 'sense'.
Upon everything, the government is about to pay Judgement debt to GN Bank which is over 374 million cedis total. If we continue like this as a country how can we move forward? You borrowed from the bank, failed to pay it back, and later collapsed the bank because their Capital is not up to Bank of Ghana's requirements while other Banks who were not performing better are allowed to operate. This is politics and they should wait because it won't be like this for them forever.
