Based on political historical trend in Ghana from 1992, governments in their second term in office ends up gaining the displeasure of Ghanaians and as such such, voted out when the political party in question seeks another term in office. Today, a netizen, who identified himself as one of the freshly graduated students in the first batch of the Free Senior High School policy, stormed the comment session of the Honorable Minister of Education Yaw Osei Adutwum. The netizen boldly expressed his disappointment in Yaw Osei Adutwum and the immediate former Minister of Education, Matthew Opoku Prempeh for deceiving them (students) into voting for the New Patriotic Part in 2020. The student revealed that the NPP deceived them that they would give the students free scholarship into the tertiary institutions nut he has realized it is all a scam. The student disclosed that the government wants the students to go for loans instead of the initially planned scholarship. It is for this reason why the student assured the ruling NPP government that they the students, will punish the NPP in 2024.
"You promised us that you will give us free scholarship. Where is it? You want us to go for loans so that we will pay in the future. NEVER. I campaigned for the NPP in my school but I promise you, we will punish the NPP in 2024. If you do not want that to happen, stop buying the PASSCO and give us the scholarship", the student explained.
