I Don’t Distribute Food To Senior High Schools - Education Minister Finally Reply Critics

The Minister for Education and member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency, Hon. Osei Adutwum has finally and boldly replied to critics over no food in the senior high schools. Ghanaians have consistently criticized the Akufo-Addo government and the Education ministry over the lack of food for students in senior high schools. While replying to critics, the minister revealed that he doesn't distribute food to those schools.

In an interview with TV3 on Ghana Tonight, Hon. Osei Adutwum revealed that he's not in charge of food distribution but the buffer stock has given him firm assurance that food will be getting to our senior high schools. He called for calm and told Ghanaians not to worry as some senior high schools are getting the needed food supply from the buffer stock.

“ I do not distribute food to our senior high schools. It was a cabinet decision to have the buffer stock do that and then we, the education ministry will pay them. The last time I talked to the buffer stock, I was told they are making preparations and food will get to those senior high schools that are reopening. I even called some of the headmasters and they affirmed that they've gotten some food. Therefore there is calm.” Hon. Osei Adutwum boldly revealed this.
