Leticia Hyere Pinnaman's death broke Ghanaians yesterday, May 18th 2021. The Bono region and Miracle Senior High School are mourning the passing of the 16-year-old. Reports indicated that the final year student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her school's dinning hall. However, the deceased mother later made a revelation about her daughter's death. The mother revealed that, after a thorough examination of her daughter's corpse by a doctor, the doctor confirmed the corpse showed no signs of death by hanging, so she is confident someone is behind her daughter's death.
Signs of death by hanging usually include, protruding tongue, little of fecal matter and bruises along the neck area. Leticia's mom medical revelation suggests someone murdered the 16-year-old and covered it up by making it look like she committed suicide. Now the question is, what is happening in our Senior High Schools?. Are murderers lurking around our Senior High Schools, could it be the doing of a lover, no one knows. Thorough investigation must commence to make the school a safe haven once again. Our condolences to her family and friends.
