What do you want to communicate effectively and What do you want to achieve.
To deliver a good presentation, you should have your topic before time, set your goals for the presentation. Your presentation should inform and educate your audience.
Do research on your topic and get full control of it, you should be able to entertain your audience but it shouldn't be too much. Try and hold their attention.
