The Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service are committed to raising the standards of education, especially in our basic schools in the country. This has inspired the Honourable Osei Yaw Adutwum-led Ministry to come up with the National Standardised Test for Basic Stage four (BS 4) pupils throughout the country.
The Ghana Education Service wants Heads of Public Primary Schools to confirm the enrollment figures of BS 4 pupils of their respective schools. Headteachers have been given just eight hours to verify and confirm the enrollment figures as the Regional Education Directorates are on standby for the data. Heads have up to the close of today, Thursday, 7th October, 2021 to make and submit corrections if any.
One District Statistics and Planning Officer in the Ashanti Region wrote to Heads of primary schools.
"Good morning colleagues. Kindly check and verify the Enrolment of your B4 pupils only for onward submission to the Regional Office by close of work today. Treat with attention. Thanks"
National Standardised Test is aimed diagnosing the problems and challenges of the New Standard based curriculum. The Ministry of Education and Ghana Education Service would be careful as leakages have characterised examinations in this country.
