Senior High School is the full meaning of SHS.

There are many senior high schools in Ghana. Some of the Senior High Schools are Vocational schools and some of the schools are Technical schools. We have other senior High Schools that study both Vocational and Technical programmes.

There are 721 Senior High Schools in the country. Out of these 721 schools, some of the senior high schools admit only males students and some of them admit only female students. Some of the Senior High Schools admit both males and female students.

The Senior High Schools in Ghana is about to increased from 721 schools to 722 schools. There is going to be an increased of one additional school.

According to Ghana Education Service (GES), John Agyekum Kuffour Senior high school located in Solonben in Kumasi of the Ashanti Region is ready for the 2020/2021 Senior High School placement. GES added that, the school is ready for admission for the new academic year.

The John Agyekum kuffour Senior High School will be offering programmes like Business, Home Economic and General arts. And the school is going to admit both day and boarding students.

Ghana Education Service is about to make J. A. Kuffour SHS official to members of the general public. When this happened the Senior High Schools in Ghana will move from 721 to 722. Please share, like and comment on this article.
