Ghanaians are expressing mixed reactions after news broke that the Rastafarian students who were denied admission in some Senior High Schools in the country have finally received good news.
To some Ghanaians, twins must not be played with because they are very powerful creatures.
All of them have remained Rastafarians since birth. Tyrone Marghuy’s admission was truncated at the Achimota Senior High School after the headmistress asked him to cut his dreadlock to enable him to adopt to the rules of the school.
His two sisters also had admission at the St. John’s Grammar School but have also been asked to cut off their dreadlocks.
The good news coming indicates the Rastafarian students have finally been offered scholarships from some schools.
According to reports, some six schools whose names were not given have offered admission to the Rastafarians.
Soon after the news, some Ghanaians have been sharing reactions. Some of them believe God’s blessings are on the triplets and an opportunity was definitely going to be made for them.
Others are thanking God almighty for intervening when almost every school rejected them. There are others who believe authorities in those schools that rejected them should bow down in shame.
“I was telling someone today that this is a blessing in disguised. They should just go ahead and grab this opportunity before it is too late. I even don’t want my children to be part of this country’s Shambolic Education system”. Naa Adjeley wrote.
Bernard Blessing Mensah commented that “this is awesome news. They finally got an incredible offer. They should now so that the public will stop discussing them. A situation that can affect them psychologically”. He noted.
Emmanuel Kwame indicates believes “Mans rejection does not mean God’s refusal, he indeed works in mysterious ways”. He noted
It seems most Ghanaians are happy with the current news. Read more reactions below.
