Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West, Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui has restored roofings for Bawjiase Anglican, Nuriyaa Primary School and donated packs of roofing sheets to affected residents after they were hit by a rainstorm in the constituency.
The entire roof of Anglican school was terribly ripped-off and part of Nuriyaa was gravely affected leaving the staff and pupils helpless. About 10 residents of Zongo had their houses also destroyed by the heavy storm that hit parts of Bawjiase and caused serious devastation.
Following this, a report was made to the caring and sympathetic Member of Parliament who came in with her timely assistance to relieve her constituents from distress.
Hon. Gizella Tetteh-Agbotui also pledged to renovate the dilapidated school building during the short vacation to make it conducive for teaching and learning.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the MP for coming to their aid quickly and promised their continuous support for her.
