Apesua Residents Hails Yilo krobo MP, Hon. Albert Tetteh Nyarkotey over Re-Roofing the Apesua M/A basic school.

However, the people of Apesua, a farming Community in the Yilo krobo municipality near Nkurakan have been using a school wornout roofing over the past six(6) years after a rain storm took the school roof.

Meanwhile, the PTA chairman of the school Mr Nartey Kofi, said the basic school which serves the whole community and neighbouring communities has been left to rot without any maintenance.

In an interview with David Ayertey Nenebi on Rite fm news, he stated that, in 2015 the rain broken down the school roofing which affected the whole building and though they had reported the case to the municipal Assembly of Yilo krobo, Hon Ebenezer Tetteh Kubualo the MCE of Yilo krobo said the school is yet to receive a feedback.

They therefore pleaded to non governmental organisations and other stakeholders to come and assist them with a Junior High School (JHS) building because the people walk serveral kilometers to Nkurakan before they get their school which is the JHS.

Hon. Albert Tetteh Nyarkotey who is the MP for Yilo krobo said he likes education that's why he's trying his best to re -build all the schools in the Yilo krobo municipal.
