Emeritus Professor, Stephen Adei, the former Director- General and Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, has disclosed that the educational at the basic is horrible in Ghana.
According to him, we must decentralize the basic education system. The teachers don't want it but we should not do their bidding.
He urged policy makers to make sure to change our educational system to suit modern trends of education. I know some teachers will not agree with me of decentralization of our educational system but it must be done.
Speaking on Joy News Am show, distinguished between tertiary level and pre- university. He revealed that at the university, you are considered an adult. When you are dealing with basic school, there are certain rules you're getting them to use to obeying laws.
He added that, he really supports Achimota school's decision not to admit Rastafarian students because there are certain rules students have to follow.
