NDC MP Sends Bold Message To Ghana School Of Law

The member of parliament for South Dayi Constituency in the Volta Region, Hon Rockson Dafeamekpor has sends bold message to Ghana school of law today, Thursday, 30th September, 2021.

The member of parliament speaking on Metro TV good morning Ghana show stated that he has heard that Ghana school of law has called some student to the Ghana bar Association and denied some students because of not getting the money requested from them.

He said that why should Ghana school of law charged the students called to the bar close to Ghc 5,000? Thus $900.

He revealed that when they were called to the bar in 2005, they payed nothing until two years before they let them pay some ghc 50 for their certificate and some other things required by the law institution.

Hon Rockson Dafeamekpor told Ghana school of law that he is begging them to call all the students to the bar although they have closed the date scheduled. He said they should allow them to pass through and later let them pay the fee before taking their certificate. He expressed that the money requested from the students does not include items they will buy.

According to Hon Rockson Dafeamekpor, the hardship in the system is very high and Ghana school of law should not blame the rest of the students who couldn't pay their fees to get called to the bar for he himself had received a lot of calls from close friends, and people who wanted him to assist them pay for fee charged by Ghana school of law.

He however told Ghana school of law that they should not use that avenue to do business because the fees charged to be call to the bar association this time around is too high and he can't believe it.
