Our attention has been drawn to a wrong attribution of name and image in our October 6, 2022 publication with the above headline.
In the said publication, we wrongly attributed a statement made by Dr Kwadwo Addo Tufour on Accra-based Okay FM to Professor Joseph Tuffour Kwarteng of the University of Cape Coast.
In the earlier post it was stated the ''lecturer expressed his disappointments in President Akufo-Addo’s leadership and handling of affairs in the country.
He added that prior to assuming the high office of the land, President Akufo-Addo was seen as a no nonsense man who will not accept wrongdoings in his administration.
This, he however says, has been proven otherwise considering how the President keeps praising and shielding his corrupt and non-performing appointees.''
We wish to apologise unreservedly to Professor Joseph Tufour Kwarteng for any injury caused by our publication to his name and reputation.
The said publication has since been pulled down.
