The 2013 National Science and Math Quiz (NSMQ) winners contested in yesterday's regional qualifiers.
Looking at the NSMQ records of St Thomas Aquinas, it was obvious they would prove a point because they have more experience than the other contestants. They were in control of affairs right from the first round, till the contest ended.
At the end of the final round, they were declared winners after setting the pace with a total of 59 points.
Looking at the huge margin between the points they had, and that of the second-closest competitor(Ada SHS), there is clear evidence the former title holders were up to the task.
Congratulations to the 'beeb3' boys for a job well done.
In their next contest, they will be facing winners from subsequent quiz competitions, in the 'champion of champions' stage.
If they are able to win this contest, they will be given the opportunity to join the tall list of selected schools, that will be participating in the national championship.
We look forward to seeing them at the national championship, where they will be meeting some of the best senior high schools in Ghana.
