Adisadel College has defeated Achimota High School and Keta Senior High Technical School, and heads towards the Grand Finale competition. Keta SHTS and Achimota College lost the Semi-Finals contest of the National Science and Maths Quiz competition (NSMQ) to Adisadel College, located in the Central Region.

After five tough rounds of the competition Adisadel College, nicknamed Adisco emerged as winners with a whopping 21 points, with Achimota College and Keta Senior high Technical School scoring 20 and 17 points respectively. The competition attracted the attention of people and alumni from around the world, since these schools are all classified amongst the most powerful schools in the country, considering their past glories and the contributions they have made towards the National Science and Maths Quiz competition; but Adisco went the extra mile boast to prove to the whole world that they are still strong and pace setters in all aspects pertaining to academic excellence.
