In all the Senior high schools in Ghana, there are laboratories for performing activities and many other stuff. Now we all know the kind of mentality students have, something like laziness and boredom. When learning, normally at the last period of the day, students don't really follow what the teacher is saying. Why because they're bored and tired, and are just thinking of going home.
One fact about students is that, a lot of theory eventually bores them. But when there are experiments and activities, students are active and they put in effort to perfect what their doing. Schools have equipments to enable them perform certain activities associated with learning. If these equipments were to be utilized well, then almost every student will pass any test given. I mean the labs were provided to aid students in learning, so if teachers continue with the theory process, few students are likely to pass tests. You know students are more knowledgeable when they do things they are taught, they tend to capture every single detail in experiments.
It's like you teaching someone how to cook, the more you practice, the better you get. So enough of the theory, and let's begin with the experiments. And definitely, students will recall every detail and be able to anwer in a test.
