WASSCE 2021 for School Candidates has just commenced. Yesterday's Food and Nutrition Paper 3, scheduled for 1:30 PM, according to Africa Education Watch on a post on Facebook was found on social media at 11:06 AM. This was hours before the scheduled period.
According to Africa Education Watch, they reported the said incident to WAEC at 11:10 AM. Upon reporting, the education think-tank confirmed the question papers were "genuine leaks" as they had described in their Facebook post. Contrary to the red flag the education think-tank raised, the paper took off smoothly with the said questions being answered by candidates.
Eduwatch in their post assured Ghanaians they are committed to monitoring the ongoing WASSCE 2021 with the support of OXFAM. They will also continue to improve accountability in the Education Assessment sector by collaborating with WAEC.
WASSCE 2021 commenced this August in Ghana with practicals of some candidates starting off. The theory papers are expected to take off in September. This is the second batch of Frees SHS beneficiaries to sit for the examination. A total of 446,321 candidates are sitting the 2021 examinations in Ghana.
