The 2020/21 administration led by Dzunu Jonathan has taken the step to channel their dues into the construction of a health post. The College, from birth has no sick bay or any facility to house students who fail sick.
Due to this, students who fall prey to any kind of illnesses are taken to clinics in the town sometimes at deep night. Under the visionary leadership of Dzunu Jonathan who is popularly know as CitizenDzunu, the administration embarked on the said project.
On 1/7/ 2021, the President Dzunu Jonathan led members of the Executive Council, some section of the students and the College Management led by the Principal Dr. Mrs. Benedicta Awusi Atiku to cut sod for the Commencent of the project.
The SRC President
Before the sod cutting, the President made it known that, they were caught between needs and wants and it took leadership to go for the clinic project over other activities. And also used the opportunity to call on stakeholders to come and support the good cause.
The principal cease the opportunity and gave thanks to the almighty God for his guidance and directions. She mentioned that, she is always proud of the Dzunu Jonathan led administration for the objective and constructive decisions they have taken since assuming office. She again mentioned that, one thing the students populace should be happy about is ability of the administration to protect the finances of the SRC and and the sacrifices of the leadership in championing students welfare as a mother, she is can only be proud of the leadership. And edged the leadership to exhibit same traits anywhere they find themselves in future endeavors.
Hon. Dzunu is bringing good innovative solutions to their problems on campus and we wish him well for his good works during his leadership.
