When we thought corporal punishment is now a thing of the past in secondary schools now, what I have chanced upon today has proven otherwise.
A final year student of Jackie Pramso SHS in the Bosomtwe District in Ashanti Region has been given a beating of her life by the headteacher. According to sources, she was beaten because she gave her jacket to a male colleague who has been punished for indecent dressing. The teacher stripped the the punished guy half naked and asked him to go back to the dormitory and dressed properly before coming back to the class.
As generous as Mary Amoako is, she decided to dash him her jacket so that he wouldn't walk back to the dormitory naked. This didn't go well with the headteacher as he has beaten Mary till she has marks all over her back.
When this sad news surfaced on the internet, a lot of people have expressed their thoughts about this.
