The John Gatsi Educational Foundation Award seeks to recognise best teachers and students after some high level assessments.
The Founder, Professor John Gatsi organises this on an annual basis and the people of Ghana remain proud of the chartered economist who doubles as a barrister.
On providing the awards, Wisdom Dewotor wrote on Facebook "Congrats, and it seems VEHEM has been consistent in leading the other schools within the Municipality. Congrats to the team at John Gatsi Foundation too".
It can be reminisced that Vehem Mawunyo International School in the Ketu North Municipality in the Volta Region has been consistent in winning the award and this reflects the efforts contributed by the school in such academic activities.
Catherine Adikah was awarded as the overall best Student in the competitive examinations organized by John Gatsi Educational Foundation .
On the other hand, Madam Agnes Ama Lumor was awarded as the best teacher in the competition.
Professor John Gatsi sees this competitive award as a way he could directly contribute towards improving the social capital of the municipality and the country at large.
We encourage the Professor to keep up with his good works towards improving education in the country . Ghana and the world is watching all his philanthropic deeds!
