NSMQ 2021: The Probable Three SHS That Might Meet at The Finals.

One of the national entertaining but competitive shows that 95% of Ghanaians show much interest in is the National Science and Mathematics Quiz. The National Science and Mathematics Quiz is an annual science and mathematics content-based national level quiz competition for senior high schools in Ghana. It is at these contests that we see students from various Senior High Schools exhibit their prowess and skills in the academic field. Shock and surprises are the right words to describe the emotions of Ghanaians whenever these students solve the questions as fast as 30 seconds and yet provide the right and accurate answers. Last year, Presbyterian Boys Senior High School were the winners for the 2020 contest. This year is another year for surprises. But before the contest begins very soon, let us make this analysis and provide three possible combinations of Senior High Schools that will make it to the final. This analysis was made after our observation of the current year's trial quiz and the previous year.

1. Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School versus Achimota School versus St. Peter's Senior High School

PRESEC is still the NSMQ champion and from what I have heard, they are doing everything possible to retain the trophy. Achimota on the other hand had an unfinished business with PRESEC in the year 2009 after they lost to PRESEC at the finals. Persco also lost to Achimota on the two occasions they met at the finals in 1998 and 2004. Persco also has a score to settle with PRESEC after they lost to PRESEC in the year 2006 and 2019.

2.Prempeh College versus Wesley Girls' High School versus St. Augustine's College.

3.Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School Mfantsipim School St. Thomas Aquinas Senior Secondary School.
