The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was privileged to be the guest of honour at graduation in August 2019 where he was captured handling a certificate to the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu. Dr Mahamudu Bawumia used the opportunity to make funny comments and 'mocked' the 64-year-old Secretary.
The name of the University was not captured in the video but this is University in Ghana. Johnson Asiedu Nketia was almost 62 years by then but defiled all the odd and upgraded himself at the University. Dr Bawumia stated that he was told that Johnson Asiedu Nketia left his 'too unknown' attitude at the entrance of the University when he was admitted into the school to learn very well.
Dr Bawumia made the people know that Johnson Asiedu Nketia is also known as "General Mosquito" and he made a funny statement by asking the graduands whether the training in the school has added a little muscle to the body of the NDC General Secretary. But he didn't come into this University to train his muscle but to acquire knowledge to help the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Vice President concluded by saying, "On a more serious note, I want to congratulate my good friend, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia, it shows that it can never be too late to acquire knowledge and I think we should all learn from this".
