How to Check If your Details on the Teachers Portal are Up to Date

Teachers who have not received their license numbers are to ensure that the necessary details are provided on the portal before the officials from the National Teaching Council (NTC) get to their zone or region.

HOW TO KNOW IF YOUR DETAILS ARE INTACT ON THE TEACHER PORTAL GHANA

Login in to your teacher portal by CLICKING on https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh/account/login/teacher

To check your profile progress, on the left-hand side, tap on the circular button to see your progress.

If your progress is up to 100% and pending activation, then you need not to worry about getting your license number.

Individuals are urged to note that, the NTC will send you the license numbers via SMS or Email when they get to your region. Payment has already been made hence beware so do not make any additional payment to anyone with the of generating the number for you.

WHAT TO DO IF THE PORTAL REQUEST FOR GTLE NUMBER, MEANWHILE I WAS RECRUITED BEFORE 2018?

All persons who do not provide the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) number can never reach the 100% mark.

However, individuals who were employed by GES in 2018 are supposed to provide this number.

The GTLE number is the index number that was used to write the Licensure exams (e.g. NTC/GTLE/22345/18).

Teachers who were employed before 2018 but face similar issues will have to check on their DATE OF FIRST APPOINTMENT and correct it. This has to correspond with the date on your first appointment letter.
